Matchbox Bangkok Hostel

As adults, we appreciated the friendly and available staff, the secure lock boxes and storage lockers, and the respectful and clean environment. No curfew was also a plus.

Felt at home, no complaints.

I really got my money's worth staying at Matchbox. The room was cozy and the pod had enough space for me to comfortably relax. The location was fantastic, with lots of shops, restaurants, and street food stalls within walking distance. The staff were friendly and always ready to help.

Breakfast delights could use some improvement.

I was absolutely blown away by the private space offered at this hostel. The double bed with a TV and safe was mind-blowing, and the lockers under the bed were super spacious. The convenience of a washing machine and dryer that were also cheap was jaw-dropping. The location, within walking distance of shopping centers and close to the BTS station, was fantastic. Having a 24-hour reception was a huge plus for our early check out. Even though our beds weren't ready when we arrived, we were able to use the showers and leave our bags, which was a lifesaver after a sleeper train. This hostel truly exceeded all my expectations, with clean and comfortable facilities, friendly and helpful staff, and even a 7/11 right next door. The small personalized space in the dorm rooms should be mandatory for all hotels! It was the perfect setup, and the well-equipped facilities made it even better. I couldn't believe the value for money, with everything being clean and the included locker and safety deposit box. The bathrooms were also spotless, with shampoo and soap provided. my stay at this hostel was absolutely superb!

Perfect location, close to BTS station, mall, park, and convenience stores. Clean and comfortable beds. Excellent TV in the room. Plenty of clean bathrooms. Dressing rooms with hair dryers. Great value for money. Friendly and helpful staff.

I recently stayed at this hotel and I must say, it was the cleanest and most comfortable hostel I've ever experienced. The attention to detail was impressive, with crisp clean sheets and spotless bathrooms. I also appreciated the free tea and coffee in the kitchen area. this hotel provided great value for money and I would highly recommend it.

All was fine, nothing to complain about.

During my Christmas trip, I appreciated the convenience of having a 7-11 store nearby, which was very handy for snacks and drinks. The social area was a great place to chill and grab a beer with fellow guests. the spacious bed was a nice touch and made for a comfortable stay.

My experience was dampened by some negatives such as the rude staff who were not accommodating when I asked for a slight extension. The toilets were not entirely clean and lacked toilet paper.

The pod I stayed in at Matchbox was surprisingly spacious and comfortable. I loved the privacy provided by the curtain. The bathrooms were clean and well-maintained. The location is great, with a nearby mall and plenty of food options. The rooftop terrace was a nice touch. The price was definitely worth it for the value I received.

I always come back to my favorite place in Bangkok! The staff even helped me with my bags during my first stay. It has everything I need - Wi-Fi, microwave, AC, and a 24-hour reception. Perfect for my business trips!

The hostel boasts a prime location with easy access to public transportation; it is walking distance to the skytrain and link station for the MRT. there are plenty of dining options and a convenience store nearby. Guests can choose from a variety of sleeping arrangements, including cubby hole beds with privacy curtains, big lockers, and a safety box. the rooms' comfortable design has toilets sectioned for privacy.

Some guests may feel uncomfortable sharing a room with the opposite gender.

I spent my Christmas at a hostel and I liked the fact that they have a communal kitchen where I could cook my own food and enjoy unli-coffee. the location was also convenient for me, with a bus stop just a few steps away and a 7/11 store next to it. I also appreciated the sink and washing machine in the kitchen area, which made it easy for me to do my laundry.

the bathrooms were not very clean and the shower gel and soap were often empty.

I had a great stay at this hostel. One of the best aspects was how close it was to transportation - I could easily walk to the nearest Skytrain station or take a bus to nearby attractions.
